Candidates must be high-energy, willing to take charge of newscast content, be innovative, demonstrate strong communication skills and be self-motivated.

We are looking for a leader with excellent writing skills who can add their creative talents to continue to grow a strong news product. The perfect person for this position will also oversee the Assignment Desk in the evening and oversee content on our digital and social platforms.

Qualifications:

·         Two years of management experience preferred.

·         ENPS knowledge a plus

·         News gathering, writing, and producing experience required.

·         Strong leadership skills

·         Ability to make decisions under deadline pressure.

·         Knowledge of best practices for social media

·         Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to breaking news events.
