Producer, AZTV 7

AZTV Channel 7 (KAZT) in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Producer for its local, live morning show, Arizona Daily Mix. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the Exec. Producer in following through on all aspects of the production of each program. This person may also be assigned program producing duties for specials or other series programs as developed.

Producer responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Support Executive Producer and program hosts with guest communication, scheduling, and asset acquisition.
Assist in the development and execution of the daily program rundown.
Research and recommend topic ideas.
Video editing for program features.
Coordinate with production crew on all assets for the program.
Field segment producing.
Work with the Digital Director on scheduling, editing and prepare all media for website, social platforms. Including the writing of engaging copy for each post and adding guest lists to the website.
Produce specials/programs as assigned.
Candidate must have excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills. Be able to work under tight deadlines, handle pressure situations, and provide thoughtful and decisive solutions.
