Internship Summary/Description:

Looking for current college students who are interested in learning more about working in broadcast photojournalism/videography. Get hands-on experience shooting and editing video.

If you have the desire to grow your news photography/videography, take initiative and have the ability to reflect on your work and apply feedback, then you could be our next intern. This is a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best, award-winning journalists in the business. This is a paid, part-time internship!

Internship duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Must be available to work 20 hours per week. We are a 24/7 news operation, so days/nights/weekend shifts are available.
– Must have a responsible presence on social media/other digital platforms.

Internship Qualifications/Requirements:

– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), proven news judgment, ethics and integrity.
– Must have a valid driver’s license.
– Must have some videography experience.
– Strong work ethic, organizational and leadership skills.
– Must be able to work quickly, make deadlines, multi-task and show composure in spot news situations.
