Internship applications are now open for 2026
PHOENIX – Applications are now open for local media brands to apply for one of 84 fully funded internships offered by the Arizona Media Association and Arizona Local News Foundation.
We are also increasing the award amount to $3,700, another increase from 2025.
This funding will support interns in local news and journalism, as well as hard-to-fill positions like sales, production, marketing, and more.
The deadline to apply for 2026 funding is November 21, 2025. The application portal can be found here.
