NEW! Say hello to the Arizona Media Icon Lunch! We’re ready for your 2025 nominations

Matching the theme of our new Arizona Media Association, we’re pleased to announce a fully re-imagined annual awards lunch that will recognize the absolute best in our Arizona local media business.

The Arizona Media Icon Lunch is coming to the JW Marriott Camelback Inn in Scottsdale on April 22, 2025.

This is where we will celebrate the 2025 class of inductees into the Arizona Media Hall of Fame and introduce the Arizona Media Lifetime Service Award to give our industry’s everyday heroes the credit they have earned.

The Arizona Media Hall of Fame Award is arguably the highest award an Arizona media professional can receive. Candidates must have spent over 20 years in media with a minimum of 10 years serving in Arizona media leadership roles, although most past winners have worked in Arizona media far longer. Candidates must have created a lasting impact on Arizona’s media landscape and can come from any local media industry or discipline. Previously, our Hall of Fame honorees were celebrated under the legacy Arizona Newspapers Association or Arizona Broadcasters Association brands. Starting in 2025, we are combining them to celebrate the best from TV, radio, print and digital. See previous honorees here.

Arizona Media Hall of Fame nominations are now open here. The deadline to be submit nominations for the class of 2025 is November 1, 2024.

We also encourage you to make nominations for our newly created Arizona Media Lifetime Service Award. This award salutes the everyday heroes that keep our industry strong.  That might include your rockstar AE, exceptional IT Specialist or Receptionist. Candidates can come from any local media discipline but must have at least 35 years of professional service in local media (with at least 15 of those years in Arizona).  Honorees will be recognized on stage during our Arizona Media Icon Lunch with gratitude from the crowd and a special certificate on behalf of our entire Arizona local media industry.
