As many of you are aware, the US Forest Service is working to implement a congressional directive to collect more fees from groups that use communications facilities on federal land.

This includes many Arizona broadcaster tower sites.

Currently, the Forest Service proposes to add a $1,400 annual fee per communications facility.

Within the last few days, the National Association of Broadcasters has filed comments against this new financial burden and we are watching it closely to identify other ways to delay/block this unwelcome added cost.
