The University of Arizona’s Journalism School has started construction on a new learning environment for students that will help teach more skills needed to work in Arizona broadcasting. 

The new Severson Family Broadcasting/Podcasting Studio and Lab will include state-of-the-art technology, green screens, in-room acoustics, and sound and light proofing.

The space is the result of years of planning and a generous grant from Adelaida and Barry Severson.

The ABA has also spent the better part of the last 18 months partnering with UA to help turn this dream into a reality.
