Last Day To Make Nominations For 2019 ABA Awards
We’re in the home-stretch of accepting nominations for two big ABA awards. If you haven’t submitted nominations, now is the time to do so!
The first award is the long-standing ABA Hall of Fame, arguably the highest award a broadcaster in Arizona can receive. The Hall of Fame award recognizes leaders who have made a measurable impact in Arizona broadcasting during their career. As in years past, we will honor multiple honorees this fall. The second award is a brand new way for us all to recognize the brightest newcomers (already making waves) who have incredible potential in Arizona broadcasting. Thanks to many requests, we’ve extended the nomination window for both awards until Friday, May 24.

Awards will be handed out on Tuesday, September 10th at a brand-new lunch we’re calling The Arizona Broadcasting Future and Awards Lunch. The event will preview the new technology and consumer broadcasting trends coming to life in 2020, review the state of our industry, talk-out signs of growth and ABA focus areas to help protect business, and award a select few worthy Arizona broadcasters. The announcement of award recipients and the first call for registration will be in June. This year’s lunch will be held at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale.
