One of the ABA’s most sought-offer services is our Arizona Broadcasters Inspection Program (ABIP).
The program is part of a unique partnership with the FCC that allows us to train stations on all FCC rules, have an ABA inspector audit practices, and give stations a 3-year moratorium on most FCC inspections.
Think of this ABIP program as pure peace-of-mind.
The ABA is now taking requests for all 2022 inspection needs. The application window will be open until January 31, 2022.

Each month, the ABA also shares recently filed FCC violations. In September and October, those violations that included:
Tennessee broadcaster fined for failing to file license application
FCC fines Rhode Island broadcaster for late-filed license renewal
Streaming service to pay $3.5 million for violating closed-captioning rules
FCC fights with Kentucky broadcaster over license renewal application
Alabama TV station fined for late issues/programs lists
While most ABA services come with no cost, our inspection program has historically had a fee structure to offset the high cost of funding this program.
For all of 2022, the ABA will be absorbing most of that cost with the goal of making this program even more affordable to every member. All sign up documents can be returned to the ABA via email: info@azbroadcasters.org
